Christine’s online knitting class was an absolute delight. She was thorough in every explanation, patient with every question, and brought such a calming presence to the learning process. Her guidance was incredibly helpful, and she made even the trickiest techniques feel approachable. I left the class feeling confident, supported, and inspired to keep knitting. Highly recommend! 

A had given up on knitting as a child. Her mum thought knitting was pointless and did not encourage or help her when things went wrong. She managed to learn a little with a programme but was made to feel stupid because she needed extra time to grasp the techniques. She did try to do it on her own but came into problems and didn’t know how to fix them. She joined my free class and got knitting for the first time, even learned what to do when things went wrong! 

C’s family wasn’t particularly crafty but she did teach herself to knit – she even knitted a blanket in squares – it had many mistakes and “looked awful” but her daughter loved it and still uses it to this day. The whole process put her off Knitting for a long time. She was determined to make 2026 her year of learning to knit and her dream project was to knit a sweater for herself. She completed my free knitting course, despite finding problems along the way and learning how to fix them. She went on to my Sweater Success course and has followed along knitting in miniature – she has had challenges in her life getting in the way but she is determined to complete this project!

S knew how to knit, she had knitted xmas stockings for years but wanted to learn something new. She followed along with the beginner knitters, learning new techniques along the way and followed me onto Sweater Success. She was able to fill in her skills gaps – such as learning how to cast off – something she’d never done before as well as learning all the skills to complete a whole sweater but knitted in miniature. She has also begun looking at dog sweaters for her canine companion and is happier looking at patterns now she knows much of the common terms!

D was unable to complete my free course but loved the work she had completed in it. She liked the pace and style of the course and gave glowing feedback – she loved how calm and slow I had approached learning to knit!
